Motor Cycle Racing Club of New South Wales

About

The Motor Cycle Racing Club has been around unofficially since 1941. It was formally established as a company in 1953.

The club promoted and supported road race meetings at Mt. Druitt, Bathurst and Oran Park. M.C.R.C. is the club responsible for introducing motor cycle racing to Oran Park over 45 years ago and has held race meetings there every year.

These days most members compete at the privately promoted race meetings but still hold their licences with M.C.R.C

Historic Motorcycles

There is a dedicated group of riders of historic race machines who compete at National Historic race meetings or State Historic meetings with the majority of race meetings outside N.S.W. There is also a newly formed part of the club who choose not to race but ride conditionally registered motorcycles at various rallies and events organised through the club. The motorcycles, to be eligible, must be 30 (or more) years old and roadworthy.

General Meetings

General meetings are on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 'The Warwick'Hotel/Tavern (Adjoins Holiday Inn), 355 Hume Hwy, Warwick Farm, NSW 2173 . Meetings start at 7:00pm.

Social Events

The main social event is the presentation day which is usually held at a licensed club and provides a meetings place for riders and families without that noise and urgency of a race meeting. Sometimes a lunch/b'bque is held at a club members house to supplement the presentation day

How to Join M.C.R.C.

New members are always welcome. For people who are interested in assisting at a race meeting in an official capacity free entry passes and lunches are provided. This gives you the chance to see racing from a trackside vantage point whilst assisting the club.

Annual club fees are $30. Club T-shirts, caps and badges are available at extra cost. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome at general meetings and race meetings.
